Evening Poplars
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by T.C. Steele’s “ Evening Poplars “. I know I’d wear this blazer, since the dark olive color is perfect for the trees in the painting, and I added my white sweater both for the color and a bit of texture. As for the bottom, I thought about sticking to the olive theme and wearing my velvet pleated skirt, but then I noticed that the ground in the painting is a mix of brown and green and darker colors too, so I went with these pants instead.
