Gosh! Do I Look As Old As All That?
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Dr. Seuss’s illustration . Believe it or not, this actually took me some thinking, because while I can interpret the dark colors in the painting with no problem, it is the mix of dark navy and light pink that gave me trouble. Thankfully, I remembered this old plaid button-up, whose pink-and-navy combo is perfect! I paired it with a navy skirt with cut-out embroideries along the hem to reflect the feathery strokes in the painting, and the cut-outs on my shoes are a nod to that as well. I’m super happy with how it turned out!
