Going To Market

Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Constant Troyon’s “ Going to Market “. I actually put together a different outfit for this, but I didn’t like how it turned out (I’m still going to post it, but not for SIA), so this is what I wore instead. I leaned into the black-and-white theme, obviously – there are subtle stripes on my trousers, though they don’t really show up in the photos. The brooch choice I had to explain a bit though. See, I knew I’d want an animal brooch, because of all the animals in the painting, but my dog brooches don’t match the general tone of the painting, you know...
