Two Weeks in Spain: Granada
I knew if I was visiting southern Spain I’d have to find a way to get to Granada to see the Alhambra. The Alhambra is a 13 th century fortress with palaces and gardens that was once home to the Moorish monarchs. While seeing the Alhambra was the main purpose of our visit to Granada, we thankfully had time to explore some of the nearby neighborhoods and other attractions in the city, whose name means “pomegranate” in English.
