Hey Outfit, Be A Bookshelf!
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Maarten Baas’s “ Hey Chair, Be a Bookshelf ” sculpture. The piece is both simple and intricate, so I was planning to reflect the chair/bookshelf dichotomy somehow (maybe by using a normal piece in an unexpected way), but in the end, I decided to just go with an all-black outfit (with my gingham trousers to break up the black a bit) and paired it with my book necklace. These monk shoes are a new purchase from my recent Japan trip, and already I can’t stop wearing them!
