The cape (and stole, poncho, and pashmina) is having a bit of a comeback this season, spotted across the fall 2025 runways. A cape jacket, as the name suggests, is a hybrid outerwear style that is often cropped, billows out from the body, sits higher on the neck and has trimmed sleeves. Capes embody drama in fabric form.
