Hi, everyone. Went to Rumah Bapak Dartoyo at Jalan Sumatera Bandung a few days ago. We went on a Saturday so we had trouble finding parking but fortunately still plenty of empty seats inside. Upon entering Rumah Bapak Dartoyo, I definitely feel like I was transported back in time. Rumah Bapak Dartoyo has this charming blend of Dutch-colonial nostalgia and vintage European elegance with their rattan chairs, patterned tiles, and classic chandeliers here and there. It feels like stepping into your rich grandparents home; the kind you’d imagine from the colonial era, but polished and cozy enough to enjoy your afternoon coffee. ...
