I know so many people who absolutely ache to wear nice things but are too afraid to buck this excessively casual trend we're stuck in. I also know that it's hard to stand out from the crowd, but to me it feels harder to be miserable following along with everyone else. If you dress up you'll inevitably face scrutiny and questions like, "why are you all dressed up?"
