Corduroy is probably one of my favorite fabrics. It’s lightweight enough to be comfortable during the warmer months, and heavy enough as a layer for the colder months, and has an interesting texture while not being as fussy as velvet (funny enough, in my native language, corduroy is called “striped velvet”). I’ve been trying to add more corduroy to my fall/winter wardrobe, and while I have a fair amount of cord trousers already, cord blazers and shirts are still on my list.
