Wintery Marsh

Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Dee Nickerson’s “Winter on the Marsh”. I knew I’d wear this dress because its blue color perfectly matches the blue of the sky and the water, and the white windowpane pattern can be a nod to the white trees. I paired it with this sweater vest and boots to pick up some of the colors in the painting, and my “girl with dog” brooch looks like it could be part of the scene, so of course, I had to wear it.
