You know the feeling; it's such a common human experience. We have our eyes on a prize. We fight, we toil, we sow, we sacrifice, and then? It all goes to someone who didn't put in the work, but just showed up with a charming smile at the right time. When dreams crumble, when all our work amounts to nothing or someone else reaps the reward, when the crown (or whatever your personal equivalent is) goes to the usurper, we have a serious choice to make.
