It’s Shelbee’s turn to host, and here is her pick: Since March is International Women’s Month, Shelbee wants to choose something that honors female artists, so she chose a female artist’s depiction of another female artist! This is the illustration of New Zealand artist Katherine Quinn, which depicts Frida Kahlo and her pet deer Granizo (who was thought to be the model for Kahlo’s painting, “ The Wounded Deer “), for a book called Pets and their Famous Humans .
