Whirpool Frog

Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Annemieke Mein ‘s “Whirlpool Frog”. I knew right away that I’d wear this dress – the soft green and the embroideries/trimmings on the front perfectly mimic the water in the work. For the rest of the outfit, though, I was a little stumped. I wanted a nod to the blue and green of the water, but I have nothing in the right shades. In the end, I went with this jacket to imitate the texture of the frog and the water, my blue belt, my olive heels, and of course, my frog brooch.
