Summer (Not) By The Sea

Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA. It’s a looser interpretation than usual, but the original illustration is so colorful that I know I could never do it justice by trying to represent all the colors. Instead, I went with my mushroom-printed shirt for both the colors and a nod to the parasols, my swirly skirt to represent the swirls of the sea, and my strappy shoes to mimic the strappy shoes of the woman in the illustration. All in all, I’m happy with how the outfit turned out. Don’t forget to send me your outfits if you haven’t, and come back on Wednesday to see what everybody else wears!
