Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Sila Gur ‘s embroidered artwork, “Wild & Free”. I immediately knew I’d wear this dress-turned-tunic, because the linen and the embrodeired mimosa blossoms are perfect for the artwork. For the bottom, I went with this gingham skirt both for the color and the texture, and same with my clogs. I don’t have a straw hat (I used to have a straw boater that would be perfect for this, but it got too old and beat-up so I threw it away ages ago), so the gingham would have to stand in place of that. Still, I’m happy with how the outfit turned out. I can’t wait to see...
