I love the prospect of a new year. I'm a big fan of fresh starts, they just have so much potential. I spent New Year's Eve with my best friends, playing board games and pool until midnight, when we celebrated 2012 with poppers and a little bit of champagne. It was the perfect way to start the new year.Sadly, a few days in to 2012, I have said goodbye to both friends as they've packed up and moved away, Otis to Oklahoma, where he's going to school, and Alexandera to Italy, where she's studying abroad. That leaves me feeling kind of lonely, which sucks, but I suppose I'll make the best of it by keeping myself busy. I'm going on a trip in a few days that will be fantastic,...
