One Hat, Two Hat, Suede Hat, New Hat

I actually bought 3 hats this week, but today you get to see just two. One that's suede and one that's new. Funny how a hat can inspire an entire outfit.As soon as I tried this one on, bought new, I was inspired to come up with an outfit in this 30's era style. Or is it 20's? I've been doing some research for a set of fashion illustrations and all the eras start to blend together before the 50's. For me anyway. Fur collared sweater and skirt, thrifted last year. Purse was my grandmother's.Here's a little leg shot. Pairing these socks with a skirt is entirely a new idea for me. But I really like it.In fact, wearing skirts as often as I am lately is a new thing too....
