Just like the innumerable masses of pale ladies that came before me, I've gone to Florida and purchased a wide-brim hat. This impressive number was plucked from the racks of a small town thrift store for $2. Two adorable old ladies told me that it was "beautiful" and "elegant." I never argue with the profuse flattery of strangers. Though, between you and me, I think this topper was intended to be a wall hanging and not, you know, an actual hat. But damn the man!
