Navy and Black Can Be Best Friends...
It was perfect timing that one of my fave preppy bloggers, Cee from To Brighten My Day, would post an outfit pairing navy and black as well! Be sure to check out her outfit as well. :) We all tend to stray away from pairing navy and black together, mostly because the colors can be mistaken for each other-- black for navy, and navy for black. However, I want to quote Cee here and say, "...instead of wearing navy directly on black, I broke it up with a middle layer (in gingham)." I think navy and black can pair well together, so long as there is another texture or print. In Cee's case, she broke up the colors with a coordinating gingham print. I tried it with a tweedy...
