Isabel-Inspired
Like many folks, I was quite taken with Isabel Marant's fall 2012 collection. Aside from the femme-y urban cowgirl vibe, what I was especially drawn to was the combining of reds, pinks and creams with black and the tiniest bit of sparkle. Are you ever sometimes just inspired by the way certain colors are put together? Such was the case here. But since the heels, western shirt dresses, and ankle strap pumps are not in my budget, I decided to re-create the vibe with things I already had on hand.
