A Touch of Elvis: Blue Suede Shoes & Military Trousers
A bit of time travelling's going on here... this is an outfit I wore a couple of weeks ago but didn't get round to posting. You may be surprised to learn it was a thrown-together outfit - and somehow ended up a little matchy-matchy (shoes and sweater; socks, other sweater, nails and watch; hair and belt). I still like it though - I think this may be my favourite kind of outfit: warm layers, with a leather jacket, loose trousers and comfy heels. The trousers were described on the ASOS website as "military" style, so with the blue suede shoes I immediately thought Elvis. Not a bad influence at all, though I'll give the iconic white jumpsuit a miss I think ;) So...
