This past weekend I spent a fun weekend away with a bunch of friends in the quaint town of Chelan, Washington. Normally my friends and I spend summers there, swimming in the lake and sunning ourselves on the beach. But more recently it seems the town has decided to team up with the neighboring town, Manson, for a festival called Winterfest. It takes place over two weekends in mid-January and focuses on fun wintry outdoor activities and celebrating local food and drink. On Saturday, we headed over to Manson for the ale tasting and chilifest.
