Paralegal Career Dressing: What to Wear to Court
Going to court with your supervising attorney usually requires a suit, and an extremely conservative expression of your personal style. No one is supposed to be looking at you. You are supposed to be polished, professional, and on top of all the exhibits.
Every paralegal's wardrobe should include a classic black suit. You can get suits fairly inexpensively from discount retail stores like Marshalls or Ross Dress for Less. I scored a terrific Loft suit recently at a thrift store for $30. Yup, 50% off $60. You bet I was stoked.
So this is what I look like when I go to court. I know my style blogger readers are probably thinking boring, but that's kinda the goal....
