What I Wore: Nifty Thrifty
Being a thrifty shopper isn’t ALL about frequenting thrift stores. Some other aspects of thrifty shopping are scoping out sales, using coupons, and in general, making smart, planned out purchases. Today, I’ve worked three new-to-me items into my outfit (the scarf, shoes, and earrings), however I managed to hardly spend a thing. I’ll let you in on a few of my shopping “secrets”.
I have a great buy/sell/trade secondhand clothing store near me (similar to Plato’s Closet of Buffalo Exchange). At least once each season, I bring them a box of old clothes and accessories that I no longer want. They provide store credit or instantaneous...
