Playing it down...
I'm obsessed these days with the idea of de-glamourizing or playing down a fancy, sparkly, evening wear skirt with a casual chambray/cotton button down, faded denim or a camo jacket- adds that extra wear value to those special pieces in your closet which you thought you could only wear on those special days or nights!
