Blouse: Vintage — Vest: Goodwill (Ben Sherman) — Slacks: Goodwill — Oxfords: Payless — Earrings: Hand-me-down
Damn straight I busted out my mom’s blouse from the ’60s for work on Tuesday! I felt the day could use the irreverence a hippie peasant blouse would bring, and I was right.
Plus, I managed to eat my whole lunch without getting curry on the bell sleeves, so I’m gonna call it a double win.
My coworkers barely even bat an eye at my clothing choices anymore, which pleases me. I’m normalizing the weird for everybody else! It’s a public service, really, which is its own reward.
