The Apple Orchard

Dress - courtesy of Bernie Dexter available to buy on Modcloth Not far from our house are fragments left over of a nineteenth century pioneer settlement. All that remains are a few houses from the 1860s, a school, a church, and an orchard full of apple and citrus trees. I love exploring this tranquil little place, and although it is right in the middle of the suburbs, when you step inside the orchard it's as if you're miles away in the countryside. Earlier this week Bernie Dexter was very kind to send me some of her beautiful dresses to blog about! Amongst them was this whimsical, fairytale-like creation with puff sleeves...
