Gent in the middle of a snowstorm
Now it's time to show Gent (or Ghent, in English). We went there on the day it started snowing and loved the city. It was just too cold, so we actually strolled quite quickly, stopping for a few hours first at McDonalds and then Starbucks (yeah, glamorous I know...), to keep ourselves warm. Despite freezing myself off I really enjoyed Gent. It was similar to Brugge with its canals and Medieval vibes, but somehow more modern. It is such a stunning city, full of history and definitely worth visiting. Despite the snow, or even more with it, I don't know..., it still looked lovely. ...
