NZ Weekend Style - Mothers Day

So turns out Mothers Day is next weekend in NZ - not this Sunday as I had incorrectly informed husband. Maybe I should have clued in when I called my Mum to wish her a happy day and she was puzzled? Or when I asked my friend what they were up to and she said she hadn't even realised it was on? Anyway this weekend in our house was about me - and real 'Mothers Day' or not, I got a sleep in, home made cards, chocolates, breakfast in bed (menu of my choosing), time out shopping with a friend and dinner cooked for me!
