Sewing Cake Binge #2 - Cabarita
I really loved the look of the new Cabarita pattern, especially after I saw the version during Me Made May of Susan from Moonthirty (seriously, go have a look!) . I didn't have any striped jersey in my stash so I found a dark navy from Lincraft that looked ok, purchased the Cabarita pdf from Etsy (only $8 and super easy to put together, its not a monster pdf) and literally "whipped up" a new top. The instructions are simple and not really intended for a beginner as they are not illustrated, just text, but anyone with a basic understanding of how something goes together will work it out, especially if you have made a Sewing Cake pattern before.
