We found this wonderful little retreat while driving to a nearby village and we couldn't resist stopping to sit by the water for a while. If we'd come more prepared, we may have even been tempted into a little paddle. This heat has honestly thrown me through a loop though. I was not expecting to have to get my legs out in October and after finally embracing layers, jumpers and boots, it was strange...
