The thing I like about summer in Texas is that it kind of goes on forever. Sure it's 100+ degrees some days but just when I think it's about to turn to fall, I remember that it's just now August. We still have summer nights for another month or so, we can still move a little slower during the day and blame the heat for everything for just a little bit longer. Of course, technically speaking we will have summer temperature for another 2 or 3 months and at some point you just give up on the hope of cooler weather and wear your fall boots anyways. Girl code.
