how does the garden grow
On Saturday afternoon I was chuffed that we had the time to see John's mum, to check on the chickens see how her vegetable garden is growing. The chickens now associate me with their bedtimes as I usually see them as the sun is going down when John and I have popped over for dinner, and clucked their way in to their shed when they heard me say hello, so no chicken pats for me, but we did get fresh eggs to take home with us. We also plucked some silverbeet that was ready to be eaten and gathered some rosemary too – now I have some greens to enjoy, straight form the garden, which makes me very happy! I can't wait to have my own garden and start growing our dinners....
