dress: thrifted talbots, alteredshirt: ralph lauren, thriftedbelt: vintagenecklace: vintageshoes: steve madden from the lulu's/swap eventi usually don't go into the thrift store and look for a particular item, since it usually leads to disappointment. i've been wanting to find a chambray dress since last summer, but couldn't find anything affordable or well-made in terms of new items. i was pretty excited when i found this dress tucked away on the racks, even though it was several sizes too big and much too long. after a couple of alterations, i'm pretty pleased with the fit and can see myself wearing it all summer.
