I can't tell you how much use I got out of this faux fur vest while I was in Paris. I layered it under almost everything, and I loved how it added that bit of added luxe to every outfit.
Overall, I wore and remixed all the basic pieces that I brought, such as this pleated gray skirt (remixed here and here !) with tights, boots and my go-to black bag. I think it's true what they say (or what I've come to believe) that when you pack for certain trips, it's a good idea to keep your clothing fairly monochromatic. In this case, it was black, gray and navy, and it definitely worked for me. :)
