The Coat That Got Away and More Images from the MVS

I know we all have that vintage story of a vintage gem that got away. This happened to me at the Manhattan Vintage Show but I'm not bitter about it just appreciating how grand this coat was. I don't think there is anyway for me to be bitter about missing out on any vintage garnment because I am truly blessed with what I have so far. For everything that gets away, think of all things that do fly towards you:) Of course, this is probably a one-of-a-kind coat but I'm sure I can find a coat that has tailoring in this style and I've decided this will be a key find for me in a future coat. The benefit of this particular coat is that I wasn't buying it over the internet...
