Baby Pich is visiting my hometown for the first time. She finally met her grandfather, who is clearly smitten, and her other crazy aunt, my sister Merv. But the most interesting encounter has got to be with the family dog, Don Octavio. You see, this is a very special, insane pug. And up until now, he had never seen a baby. And Pich had never seen a dog up close. So their first meeting was so intense, exploring each other, almost like a challenge, a duel for attention. So far the dog thinks she's a toy and is desperate to grab her, and the baby can't stop marveling at this weird, ugly-faced, attention-whore creature. Should make for a couple of interesting stories. ...
