I've always consider Hunter wellies to be a rain boots (so they usually call them), but once the snow storm hit this city I suddenly realized that feel so sorry for my leather boots. When it comes to crispy white snow I never hesitate what to wear, but this time night rain turned into wet snow in the morning, melting just under my foots with that champing sound and I unpacked my summer wellies . To keep my foot warm I wore white long socks underneath, but also this additional layering trick helps to elongate my legs.
