a new way to do chambray

chambray shirt ( gap , similar )/Peplum top ( j.crew , similar)/jeans ( mother denim )/shoes ( made well , almost identical )/necklace (j.crew)/sunglasses ( prada )/clutch (j.crew, love this one ) After hearing over and over again that a chambray shirt was a "must have" for every closet I took the plunge and bought one... and then it sat in my closet for the next 4 months because, frankly, it just wasn't even close to my style. It just felt too...buttoned up (no pun intended.) And then I had a thought....why not layer it under my favorite summer peplum top? and voila...I guess chambray has a place in everyone's closet after all. xo Ellen ps....
