I HAVE SKIRT SUIT FEVER
Over the past two months, I’ve developed an obsession with skirt suits. It all started looking back at some 90s Chanel campaigns and editorials like Linda’s below. I’ve collected Adolfo boucle suits for years but it never even occurred to me to don the three piece suit. Once I did, I was suddenly possessed by skirt suit madness. The full-on effect of a skirt suit is so amazingly bitchy and high-maintenance. The first night I wore a 60s hot pink suit (hemmed to a miniskirt) some friends and I were drinking whiskey on the marginally furnished patio of our favorite dive bar. Felt like a down-and-out Beverly Hills divorcee in the best way...
