Some people say you can’t dress up denim.
I disagree. On Tuesday I dressed my denim down and today I am dressing them up! You can always tell when a woman has a crisp new pair of skinny jeans on and I love nothing more than seeing denim dressed up in a fresh way. I wouldn’t suggest wearing a pair of distressed jeans to the opera, but you can certainly wear dark skinny jeans to a nice dinner if you pair it up correctly. I suggest matching it with a silky blouse, bold statement necklace, strong pump and modern blazer or coat. Think of the jeans as the middle of the sandwich.
