Spring Awakening
Marc by Marc Jacobs trench, Free People tank, Koral skinny jeans, Modern Vice boots NYC is shining bright. Cheek to cheek smiles all around :) The weather is still mild enough to call for light layers, and this playful plaid trench fits the bill. The color combination reminds me of a pair of overalls I had when I was around age 5, but the shape is sophisticated enough for me to rock it at age 26. The kitsch of the plaid turns a little punk against black. Surprisingly, I find myself in all black quite often in the springtime. Contrasting with the environment is an easy fashion statement.
