Exploring Yorkshire: Hebden Bridge
Rob and I were at a bit of a loose end this weekend, but rather than doing something we always do (wandering around York, sitting in our local coffee shop, watching films and going to Ikea are among our favourite activities) we decided to discover somewhere new. Despite only being an hour from Leeds - the place I've lived for the past 10 years - I'd never visited Hebden Bridge before. Which was an error, as this place is super lovely. With a canal running right through the middle there's plenty of opportunity to spot brightly-painted barges, feed hungry ducks with scraps of bread and play poosticks over the bridge.
