Normally, when we talk about a day-to-night outfit, we're talking about an outfit that takes you from your office job to cocktails. This is another kind of day-to-night - the "June Saturday in New England" day-to-night. During the day, you want a light shirt and comfy bottoms (especially if your Saturday consists of doing a little shopping - you want something you can take on and off easily!).
