Montepulciano
Yesterday morning I was in Montepulciano, one of the most charming medieval walled hill town in southern Tuscany, near Siena in Vino Nobile wine region. The town was founded in the 4th century BC and it's famous for its remarkable medieval grandeur and architecture of Renaissance and Baroque design as well. The most impressive square is Piazza Grande, where are located the Town Hall, which was constructed at the end of 14th century, Palazzo Nobili Tarugi with a facade made all in travertine, and the Duomo of Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral, that was built in 15th century...
