A little yellow dress
I have thought a lot about what pregnant women look good in (me, specifically) and I decided to make this loose-fitting yellow dress to fit the bump. I have had this fabric for a while and absolutely loved the mustard color, but I wasn't sure what it should make. One of my favorite childhood books, Dancing Shoes by Noel Streatfield , has a character that has a triumphant moment in a marigold colored dress and somehow I found myself gravitating to some sort of shift dress because of this.
