yes, on the toes of yesterday’s post about tomboy style, i am totally wearing a girly, lacy vintage dress with a bow on it. (though i did balance out the femininity with a sturdy hat and loafers…) but when i laid my eyes on this amazing vintage dress at tender vintage, i knew it had to be mine. it’s a shift dress, but it’s the perfect type of shift because it has darts at the bust and it subtly narrows at the waist before flaring out to a slight a-line skirt. that care for details is what takes a dress that could easily veer into maternity territory from frumpy to a very sassy little number indeed. and it’s exactly the type of detail...
