The time for holidays, parties, and overeating is upon us. Whenever I get invited to one of these festivities I like to show up with a hand made flower arrangement complete with a beautiful vase. It's a lovely and refreshing way to say thank you. It also doesn't have to be expensive. When picking out flowers I always try to use seasonal flowers that are grown locally. If I'm buying from a florist I ask where the flowers were grown. At the flower markets I shop from my list of preferred local farms.
