EID AL ADHA

I'm not very religious, but when I almost wasn't able to go home to celebrate Eid Al Adha with my family, I became upset. At first, I shrugged it off, but the more I thought about it, the more it irritated me. Why was it that the weeks prior I had days off from school for Rosh Hashanah, and then later, six weeks off for Christmas? No, no, no, no, no... not fair! At the risk of sounding like a fortune cookie, I leave you with this, "when not given the privilege of time to celebrate, one must create time." XOXO S.
