Autumn layering: Belted scarf

I am going to continue my autumn's fashion experiments, and today's look is ridiculously expectable: done with playing poncho games, I begin to stare at my favorite fall accessory - bulky scarf , which happily becomes a key-trend of this season. Unlike last year, when we used to wrap them a thousand times around our neck , this time scarves are here to be worn as vests, belted tight around our waist. One can wear them over the coat (as have been seen in A/W Burberry collection) or over a dress like Olivia Palermo did, or sweater and even cardigan . As for me, I took a risk to wear a scarf over the vest, created an illusion of coat. ...
